About Offshore Rigging

Offshore Rigging Services was founded in 2012 and hit the ground running when we signed the contract to be the one design rope supplier for the VO65s in the 2014-2015 edition of the Volvo Ocean Race. A massive undertaking, supplying over 6,500 one design items to the fleet, a challenge for sure but detailed planning, a great supplier and skilled riggers made it happen seamlessly.

This project was so successful that we have remained the Running Rigging Supplier for the 2017-2018 edition of the Volvo Ocean Race, supporting the teams on-site each stopover as well as splicing all ropes in the new Palma de Mallorca workshop.

With 20 years experience in both grand prix yacht racing and the super yacht industry, we ensure our customers receive the best independent advice to ensure their yacht has a rigging package that offers the highest performance and reliability levels available.
